I'm blogging this from my crib.

I snuck the computer into my crib. I'm being really quiet. I'm not really tired, I'm just pretending so Santa will come. But I found this video on YouTube. I hope you like it. I watched Elmo's Christmas Special last night, and it was awesome!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

WHAT!

Mom clarified the Santa deal. Apparently, I won't be able to see him because I will be asleep. That's the only time he'll come by to drop off presents. So, I looked at Mommy and tried to negotiate.

Like, if I can stay up and meet Santa, I won't cry during Grey's Anatomy. Ever. That's when this picture was taken.

She said. "No deal." I am required to be asleep before Santa will enter the house. It's Santa's Law.

I was not happy after that. I pouted. Then I hopped in my exersaucer and made a lot of noise. I plan to make even more noise when Grey's Anatomy is on.

Santa's Law... *sigh*

But you know...

... I do think Marines are cute. They were there to pick up toys for tots. I'm not quite a tot yet. I'm still a baby.

Then at dinner Dad said they aren't tater tots... they're tater GIANTS. Wait... that doesn't makes sense... I think Dad was joking around with me. I don't think we were talking about the same kind of tots.

Eventually, Poppy made me feel a little better...

... I mean, Santa has a lot to do this time of year... he has reindeer to feed, elves to manage, and a big list of kids that he has to mark naughty or nice. *sigh* And he has to make sure his red suit is dry cleaned, his boots are shined, and he has a wife that probably wants some love and attention. He's got a lot on his plate. Mommy and I might make him some brownies. It's a busy time of the year for him and he could use a snack.

I just want to make somethin' clear...

You know, and I know.... This Is NOT Santa. We both know the real Santa is at the North Pole getting ready for the big night. So... I was not pleased in this photo. I eventually calmed down... and smiled. But still. I know you aren't Santa, buddy.

Don't try to play me like that.

So...Mommy wanted a picture of me in a Santa hat.

She gave this big fuzzy hat to me. And I looked at it. It's big and red and I really didn't think it would fit my head.

Okay, seriously, I knew it wouldn't fit...

... and I looked at Mommy and laughed. I really don't like hats. Dad tries putting baseball hats on my head and I always whip it off with my two hands. He thinks we are joking around because I smile about it... but really, I'm not a hat fan. They itch on my bald little head.

*sigh* But Mommy really wanted a nice picture to show off...

I felt a little silly, but Mommy said everyone would want to see me in a Santa hat.
Whatever...

The hat was kinda big...

... and it kept covering up my eyes. And those fuzzies were ticklish.

Happy Holidays!!!

Mommy said to give everyone my best "Ain't I A Cutie?" look.
This was the best I could do.
Merry Christmas!
And please don't make me wear that silly hat again.

You may be wondering what I'm doing in this picture...

Well, the Ravens aren't having their best year... okay, they kind of stink. But this is me doing my touchdown dance in my Ravens sleeper and hat and purple sock-sneakers. I like watching the games with my stuffed raven. His name is Edgar.

It was Nana's birthday a few weeks ago...

... and I had a card for her. This was the first time I was taking care of sending this card myself.

This is my mini-photo essay.

Pretty Lady helped me pick out the card. Then I put Nana's card in the envelope....

I licked the envelope shut...

... it tasted kinda gross.

And I gave the card to Nana...

... and she really liked it.

I love my exersaucer...

... it makes me think. This is me exploring the colors and numbers and stuff. It also plays music, helps me with my walking skills, and it makes a lot of noise when I jump around. I don't think Fuzzy Face and Pretty Lady like the noise when I jump, but I think noisy stuff is fun.

Someday... when I'm old enough...

I'm going to be in a Christmas Pageant. And I'm going to scream at the top of my lungs, "Hey! Hey! Unto you a child is born! And they're going name him Jesus!!!!" That'll be fun. Pretty Lady said she'll read this book to me when I'm older. She doesn't want me to get any funny ideas.
Right now, I'm into a story about an itsy bitsy spider who is walking up a water spout. Then it rains. Sometimes, I also like hearing the story of a guy named Noah and a bunch of animals. There's a lot of rain in that one too. I have the Little People set with a boat, Noah, zebras, lions, and of course, elephants. I like elephants. They have big ears.

I was trying to give Mommy a hug when she took this picture...

She makes me happy. So does Fuzzy Face. They both think I look like a Cabbage Patch Kid. I don't know what kind of kid that is... I'm just me.

People tell me all the time how much they love my socks...

I have socks that look like little mary janes, and sneakers, and my new ones are little golf shoes. But I think Pretty Lady thinks these are awesome! They are 9 socks and none of them matched. When she found them at Little Miss Matched, she yelled, "This would be awesome when I'm doing Sadie's laundry!" I just think they are really cute.
